Lobby Card 11x14 USA Original.Gator is a 1976 American action-comedy film and a sequel to White Lightning starring and directed by Burt Reynolds in his directorial debut. Starring Reynolds himself, it also featured Lauren Hutton, Jack Weston and Jerry Reed. It was filmed in Savannah, Georgia. Reynolds was quoted as saying: "I waited 20 years to do it and I enjoyed it more than anything I've ever done in this business, and I happen to think it's what I do best." He went on to say, "I think I'm an actor's director".
