First Release rare Australian One Sheet size 1975.Robin Hood is a 1973 American animated musical comedy-adventure film produced by Walt Disney Productions which was first released in the United States on November 8, 1973.But in Australia it was not first released till the 2nd January 1975. The 21st Disney animated feature film, it is based on the legend of Robin Hood, but uses anthropomorphic animals rather than people. The story follows the adventures of Robin Hood, Little John and the inhabitants of Nottingham as they fight against the excessive taxation of Prince John, and Robin Hood wins the hand of Maid Marian. The song "Love" was nominated for Best Original Song at the 46th Academy Awards. Voices were provided by Phil Harris, Andy Devine, Peter Ustinov, Terry-Thomas, Brian Bedford, Monica Evans, Carole Shelley, Pat Buttram and Roger Miller.
