About this poster: Return Of The Jedi originally was titled "Revenge Of The Jedi". This title was kept until 5 months before the film was released.A trailer with the title was released and 6,800 teaser posters were distributed, most of them dated and just a very few not (like this one).However George Lucas decided after listening to fan response and much consideration that a Jedi would not seek revenge. Therefore the title had to change to Return Of the Jedi. This mean't new posters with new artwork had to be commisioned and the original 'Revenge' ones returned. Any surviving ones not returned are now extremely rare particularly those that are undated (due to their original ltd distribution).The undated ones do not have at the bottom 'Coming May 25th,to your galaxy'.
